Fort Morgan State park

After most of my claims were finished from Hurricane Sally, I took a half day off to visit Fort Morgan State Park. The number signs correspond to the brochure/map I had in my hand at the time. I don’t know where that brochure is right now and I’m not going to do internet research to find out. At the time, I never thought I would be putting these photos on a webpage.

You can tell where the canon used to sit and be able to swivel back and forth across the mouth of the bay. Below left are a line of battery's along one compass point of the fort.
Think of the time it took to cut and fit each of those pieces of wood so intricately. It's like a jigsaw puzzle. LOL I have no idea what happened to cause the photo to come out this way.
